About Me

Hi, I'm Haichao. 👋🏻

I'm fascinated by human behavior, by the logic inside systems, and by what happens at the intersection of the two. That curiosity led me to my first internship at an AI startup, and later to UW's HCI program — where I got to work on real products at that intersection and figure out what it actually takes to make technology feel human.

Outside of that, I shoot photos! From leading my university's TV station photography team to shooting Microsoft's Spring Festival (2025 & 2026), the camera is just another lens I use to understand people.
